Most of us use masks on a weekly basis, be they in the form of sheet or other forms of masks. There are masks for hydration and masks for detoxifying and purifying. Whether our skin is dry or oily, we all need these masks from time to time. I’ve never come across a mask I really, really liked until recently.
Decleor Hydra Floral Multi-Protection Expert Mask is for ultra-moisturising and plumping. These are the key ingredients in the mask:-
- Moringa Oleifera Microproteins: Protects against pollution.
- Sunflower Extract: Protects against external/antioxidant attack.
- Wild pansy extraxt: Captures moisture in the dermis.
- Samphire extract: Retains moisture on the skin surface.
- Neroli essential oil: Recognised for its hydrating properties.
- Hyaluronic Acid of natural origin: Moisturising & plumping action.
It comes out as a cream and you have to massage it on to skin until it turns into an oil. That might need more than 10 seconds. Initially, it will look like it’s gone dry but don’t give up on massaging because shortly after, it will turn into an oil and that’s when the magic happens.
Recommended leave-on time is 10 minutes but I usually have it on for about 15 minutes during which time my skin becomes softer and soaks in the benefits of the mask. You can either wipe off excess with toner or tissue off. I prefer to wipe off gently with toner. It’s okay if some of the mask is still left on.
Transformed skin – I see a radiance, a glow, such soft skin that I can’t believe it’s mine and it remains hydrated all night. I usually use this mask in the evenings after my shower. This is by far the best hydrating mask I have ever used and I would have got it in a flash if the price wasn’t rather prohibitive at RM168/50ml. In the UK, it’s an affordable £25.
Sound amazing for dry skin! Yeah, the price is quite steep.
