OrganicAid® Vitamin E Oil is a product that I have seen so often at the drugstores and always wondered about. It should be good for anti-ageing as it contains 100% natural pure concentrate derived from wheat germ with 28,000 IU of Vitamin E. According to the product description, it:-
- Helps skin heal and rejuvenate
- Improve skin’s moisture level
- Protects skin from external elements that causes skin damage
- Helps reduce skin aging and wrinkles
- Smoothes out stretch marks
- Reduces the formation of scar tissues
This may only be a 28.3ml bottle but even if it is used everyday, it will go a long, long way because it is so dense and thick. It doesn’t come with a dispenser or pump so I have to pour out a teeny-weeny amount on my palm. I didn’t expect it to be quite so concentrated and sticky, it has a gooey texture and I am n0t used to this in an oil. I could feel the stickiness more than an hour after I’d applied it to my skin.
It’s difficult to absorb into my skin, it doesn’t feel good and I find it more tacky and unsettling than moisturising, if indeed it is meant to be so. I couldn’t get past a few uses due to the thickness of the oil, one of the rare occasions when I can’t use a skincare product long enough to test its efficacy.

I tried this to fade the scars on my body when I was still in secondary school. It didn’t seem to do anything to lighten them. Maybe I should have more patient and give it more time to perform, but I’ve lost interest in it since then and have got used to the scars already.
