In conjunction with the upcoming Chinese New Year celebration, Pos Malaysia commemorates the occasion by releasing an exclusive stamp collection featuring the mythological dragon, one of the 12 animals represented in the Chinese zodiac which symbolises luck and success, to coincide with the ‘Year of the Dragon 2024’ – ushering in a year of boundless opportunities.
This limited-edition ‘Setem Ku’ set, retailing at RM28.00 each contains a sheetlet of five stamps specially crafted for the occasion. One stamp features a dragon illustration and the Chinese character for “dragon”, with a golden appearance made by hot stamping technique. The remaining strip of four stamps contains visuals of the dragon, a festive celebration with drum performance, and Lunar New Year greetings written in Chinese. To make sending greetings easy, each set also includes a greeting card and an envelope with the stamps already affixed, ready to post to loved ones for this auspicious Year of the Dragon.
Available at Stamp & Philately Counter on Level 1, Pos Malaysia Headquarters, Kuala Lumpur from 9 February 2024 onwards while stocks last at all 90 Philatelic Bureaus nationwide, including 13 General Post Offices.
