Following through on its commitment to support and give back to the community, PUMA Malaysia has kicked off its PUMA Live initiative with a workshop in conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness Month at the PUMA Sunway Flagship Store.

PUMA LIVE: Live Your Life with PUMA

PUMA Live is an initiative by the global sports brand to regularly engage its community on-ground by leveraging on its spacious 12,000 sqft Flagship Store, the largest in Asia! In celebration of their grand launch in September earlier this year, the brand ran a special PUMAthon activation, a community-driven CSR initiative which pledged RM10 to Care2Run for every 100 meters ran. This campaign was initially unveiled at the grand opening event and ultimately went on to raise RM40,000 for the non-profit organisation.

Kicking off the first PUMA Live event this month, the brand sees to educate and enrich the public on the importance of prioritizing health and wellbeing with a collaboration with Cancer Research Malaysia to talk on the importance and techniques of early detection of breast cancer symptoms. Apart from that, participants were also treated to an engaging interactive tufting session in support of this important cause.

PUMA has consistently prioritised community engagement, and this new PUMA Live space promises a plethora of monthly engaging events, from CSR activations to shopper interactive experiences.

“We fully intend to continue engaging our communities through regular personalised events such as this. Our aim is to use this new flagship store as a community hub – a place that not only offers exclusive sportswear collections and state-of-the-art shopping experience but delivers cultural and meaningful engagements to our audience as well, cultivating a sense of community and creating a space for health and wellness. We’re excited to launch this series of events starting with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, emphasising our ongoing engagement with the Malaysian community,” says Eleanor Wang, Director of Marketing, PUMA SEA.

“We are incredibly grateful to PUMA for this opportunity to collaborate once again. Their commitment to community engagement allows us to amplify our message and raise awareness about the importance of early detection in the fight against breast cancer. Together, we can make a meaningful impact, support those affected and empower individuals to take charge of their health.” – Cancer Research Malaysia.

In addition to PUMA Live’s first community event and in conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, PUMA is offering 40% off sports bras from 24th to 31st October at all stores.   For more information about the PUMA Flagship Store and upcoming PUMA Live events, follow them on Instagram at @PUMA.Malaysia
