Another submarine sandwich franchise comes to town. The 1st Quiznos Sub outlet in Malaysia opened at 1Utama and I jut had to try it because I wanted to compare it with the other sub sandwich franchise that is everywhere. According to my trusted source Wikipedia, Quiznos is based in Denver, Colorado and founded in 1991. Wikipedia also says that Quiznos is the second-largest submarine sandwich shop chain in North America, after Subway.
For my lunch, I chose The Traditional which is Roast Beef, Turkey Breast, Ham, Cheddar, Black Olives, Iceberg Lettuce, Tomatoes, Onions, Buttermilk Ranch Dressing. You can choose from artisan breads such as White, Wheat, Rosemary Parmesan or Jalapeno Cheddar. Who would choose boring White when they can have Rosemary Parmesan?
The Buttermilk Ranch Dressing is what makes this truly delicious. It has a delectable milky texture and goes extremely well with the ingredients in the sub. Now this tastes like a true gourmet sub as the meats taste like what I’d get from a deli counter.
Can’t say I like their potato chips though as they were dry even when eaten with tomato ketchup.
How much is your sub Juniper?
Around RM12.90, not too expensive.
Thanks for the info! 😀
Hi friend, I think it might be me for choosing white because am not used to eating bread. I usually avoid ordering because I get confuse on what is good to eat looking at the choice and will wonders what goes well with the other fillings.
