This morning, my friend and I arrived at Renaissance Hotel at 9.30 to join the queue at the MAC Cosmetics Family & Friends Sale. Previous years, this sale was held on a Friday. This time, my friend could join me as she flew in from Penang. She is much more of a MAC fan than me which says a lot since I have blogged about MAC so many times since I started this blog.

There were not that many sets or products from limited edition collections. Those that were available were from Patrick Starrr and ‘Girls Collection. The products were mainly from the regular range such as lipsticks, foundations, loose powders, concealers, mascara, brow liners. Prices were at least 50% off the normal price. My friend was regretting buying a foundation recently as it was 50% off at this sale.

The customers were crowding around the lipsticks counter as you could choose any two at RM60. Such a bargain, you would agree. After a while, I could not even get close to that counter and I was lucky to be early otherwise I would not have been able to get a photo of the lipstick charts.

Overall, it was a good sale even though I expected more products from their limited edition collections. My purchase was very modest compared to many others. However I am happy with my little haul which consists of Studio Fix Perfecting Powder at RM60 and Prep + prime Natural Radiance at RM90.
