If I were looking for sunscreen, I would choose those with at least SPF40 PA+++. My hyperpigmentation problem is already bad enough as it is and I need as much sun protection as I can get even though I’m not outdoors most of the time.

Hada Labo’s Super Hyaluronic Acid Mosturizing UV Milk offers SPF50 PA+++ which is the ideal SPF for me. Apparently, this UV Milk offers 3-in-1 benefits : UV Protection, Hydration and Make-Up Base. It has broad-spectrum protection against UVA and UVB. UVA and UVB damage collagen fibers and Vitamin A in skin thus accelerating the ageing process.

While other sunscreens may not have hydrating properties, Hada Labo’s UV Milk contains three types of Hyaluronic Acid to penetrate deeper into the skin. There’s Sodium Hyaluronate, Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate & Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid.

Unlike Shiseido’s Very High Sun Protection Cream N, this UV Milk does not leave a whitish residue on my skin. It’s really milky and fluid, absorbing into skin quickly. It is transparent and does leave my skin looking slightly moist after application.

In my opinion, the best thing about the UV Milk isn’t so much as the high SPF, it’s the fact that it can be used on the face and body so it saves me from having to use a separate sunscreen for my arms. As the product does not contain any paraben, fragrances, mineral oil, alcohol and colorants, it should be suitable for even the most sensitive skins.

It comes in a 38ml bottle with a tiny nozzle for controlled dispensation and is priced at RM49.90. The bottle should be shaken well before (first) use otherwise you will only get water coming out.
