Cream Shadow Sticks are actually time savers as you don’t need to use a brush and there’s no fall-out like you might get with powder shadows. As such, they are never messy and easy to use. A lot of brands have variations of cream shadow sticks, from drugstore brands to Korean brands to counter brands such as Bobbi Brown.
In Malaysia, there are 8 shades available and these are swatches of all of them:-
So you have a choice of light to dark shades. My personal favourite if the icy blue (3rd from left). Each one is stunning and you can use them as a base for making your powder shadows more long-lasting or use them on their own as time-savers. I find them more convenient than powder shadows as I don’t need to fiddle around with a brush and blending them with fingers takes just a few seconds as they are so blendable.
Golden Bronze and Sunlight Gold perfectly complement each other. Golden Bronze is a pale gold which I use all over my lids and then I applied Sunlight Gold on the outer corners of my eyelids. Gorgeous pigmentation and they just glided smoothly over my lids, no tugging nor pulling.
While they are not described as waterproof, I believe they are water-resistant as I tried to wash off with just water but they wouldn’t budge. They didn’t fade even after 8 hours of wear. I love them and am considering getting Iced Blue as it’s calling my name as a siren calls out to a sailor.
