Although milk cleansers are generally prescribed/recommended for dry skin types, all skin types can benefit from this type of cleanser as it’s more gentle than using foam cleansers. Stem Organics Gentle Cleansing Milk has 82% organic ingredients and is vegan-friendly.

The product description doesn’t state that it can be used to remove eye make-up but I decided to put it to the test. I pumped out some cleansing milk on to a cotton pad and pressed it against my eyelids. It doesn’t sting eyes and removed all traces of eyeshadow, liner and waterproof mascara easily and quickly without tugging on the skin.
I used about 5 pumps for the rest of my face, I have to double cleanse if I am using this cleansing milk as there was still some make-up residue after massaging it on to my skin. It smells wonderfully refreshing and intoxicating thanks to the mandarin and tangerine essential oils.
This is a great cleanser for massaging skin as it feels so velvety soft and my skin felt smooth after it’d been rinsed off. There was no tacky film, just felt as if I had used a moisturiser instead of a cleanser.
