Having used quite a few Garnier products, I have to admit that I’ve not been particularly impressed with any of them other than Garnier Skin Naturals Age Lift Firming Mask. Garnier’s Pure Active Anti-Imperfections Cooling Roll-On looks like the Garnier Light Brightening Roll-On.
As mentioned earlier, Garnier’s Pure Active Anti-Imperfections Cooling Roll-On is part of the new Pure Active range for ladies who have acne concerns. The products contain the following formula:-
(1) Purifying Salicylic Acid in maximum concentration which reduces sebum production, eliminates impurities and bacteria that cause acne; and
(2)HerbaRepair™, a natural blueberry extract that stimulates the regeneration of cells to help accelerate the resorption of residual marks.
When I received the Anti-Imperfections Cooling Roll-On during the launch of AcnoFight and Pure Active, I was wondering when I’d have the opportunity to use it as I hadn’t had any acne in months. Then as is often the case, be careful what you wish for, I had not one but 2 acne spots on my face yesterday.
What should I use? Why, this was the perfect opportunity to try out the Anti-Imperfections Cooling Roll-On. Just like the Garnier Light Brightening Roll-On, it had a metal roller-ball which gives a cooling effect to skin. The roller-ball on the Anti-Imperfections Cooling Roll-On took a few rolls before the formula came out.
There was an immediate cooling sensation on my affected areas, one on my chin and another on my right temple. The latter was bigger than the former. Actually, the one on my chin had made its appearance a few days ago and I’d chosen to ignore it, not doing anything about it as it was not so big as to be annoyingly obvious but the one on my temple could not be ignored.
Other than the coolness on the affected areas, I could feel a bit of tightness/dryness on those areas. Could it be working? Well, I would only find out the next morning since I went to sleep shortly after I applied the Anti-Imperfections Cooling Roll-On to my spots.
8 hours later and voila! the big spot on my temple was virtually non-existent. Sure, there was still a bump but it was minute compared to the night before. It was like a molehill after a mountain, so to speak. The one on my chin has been reduced to a teeny-weeny mark.
C’est fantastique et merveilleux! Right away, the Anti-Imperfections Cooling Roll-On has been elevated to the rank of #1 Garnier product for me. It’s even better than using any of those pimple creams as this gives a soothing sensation upon contact with skin and it really is an efficient and lean, mean acne killing machine.
Have a blemish? Have no fear, the Spot Decimator is here! Small and handy enough to be taken anywhere, I can foresee me and the Anti-Imperfections Cooling Roll-On are going to have a long, meaningful relationship.
It’s 15ml/RM24.90 and I don’t say this often, it’s worth every sen. Now if only they’d come up with a similar product to decimate blackheads.
