Personally, I feel that a cup of tea quenches my thirst more than coffee. Although I drink both types of beverages, I’d choose tea over coffee most of the time. I only drink coffee during breakfast while I drink tea the rest of the day and I find it very calming to drink at least a pot of tea at night while I draft my blog posts.

Twinings Green Tea & Mint was brewed by Twinings Brand Ambassador, Khun Dew & after brewing the tea for 4 minutes and immersing the container in a cold bath for a minute to cool down the tea, he added fresh green apple juice, 20ml of sugar syrup, mint and soda water.

Looking at the photo above, I feel like making a cup for myself as it’s definitely extremely refreshing. I’m not fond of minty flavours (which is why I avoid mint toothpaste) but the mint in Twinings Green Tea & Mint is very subtle, not overpowering at all.

Twinings chose their first and second flush green teas from select tea gardens in the Zhejiang, Jiangxi and Anhui provinces in China. These are picked in the spring when the best teas are in season.

This tea is perfect for any time of the day and once you’ve drunk one glass, you’ll want a second one. I was surprised to find that I liked it a lot even though it contains mint. The perfect drink for those extra hot days.
