The beating heart of the all-new Y36 5G is the latest flagship 5G chipset from MediaTek, the Dimensity 6020. An octa-core, 64-bit processor built on the energy-efficient 7 nm process, the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 packs a pair of Cortex-A76 cores at up to 2.2 GHz to take care of the heavy lifting, backed by six power-efficient Cortex-A55 cores that keep things ticking over in the background when multitasking.
This time, Y36 5G brings better performance of Memory Booster with the support of three core sub-features: Extended RAM 3.0, RAM Saver, and Interface Preserver. The inclusion of vivo Extended RAM 3.0 technology means that the 8 GB of LPDDR4X memory of Y36 5G is supplemented with additional virtual memory of 8GB. This means a faster, lag-free experience and the capability to run over 25 apps without losing momentum. Users will not have to worry about downloading or saving apps, videos or files on the phone thanks to the generous storage of 256 GB.

Y36 5G is available in Semporna Green and Mystic black, two new color designs for Y series that will attract attention at first sight. Delivering a new stylishly flat design that exudes elegance and class, Y36 5G incorporates a Dual Ring Design that draws inspiration from the twin-lens reflex features of professional photography devices, embodying a sense of professional imaging. Composite sheet coating gives users a
solid in-hand feeling, with a grip that can be trusted, while contoured 2.5D edge curvature adds a genuinely classy feel. Y36 5G is about 8 mm thick, and lightweight in your pocket at just 190 grams.

vivo Y36 5G is priced at RM1,099. Consumers can get it at all vivo concept stores, authorised dealers, vivo Malaysia’s official E-Store and vivo Malaysia’s official flagship stores on Shopee, Lazada and TikTok.
From 13 June till 16 July 2023, customers who purchase vivo Y36 are entitled to free gifts worth up to RM298, including a TWS earbud and a 1-year extended warranty.
Additionally, those loyal customers who received SMS from vivo concept stores are eligible for a 1-year screen protection, however they need to redeem during the first sale period.
