Some people stick to the same brand of shampoo for years but I always like to switch brands since I have never found one that I really liked and that truly hydrates my dry and chemically damaged hair. I had a (not that small) sample of AROMASE 5α Juniper Scalp Purifying Liquid Shampoo and my first impression of it is that it is really good and effective.

The star or key ingredient in this very fluid/runny shampoo is Glycyrrhetinic Acid Complex. It is designed for the daily cleansing of Dandruff, Psoriasis, and Dermatitis. It cleanses and maintains a healthy scalp ecosystem. The formula balances scalp sebum and oil production and it can effectively releive itch of the scalp. The scalp is refreshed after washing.

To use, pour an ample amount on dry scalp and massage in for 1 to 2 minutes before adding water and massage until it’s foaming. I felt a mild tingling sensation and instantly my scalp was relieved of itchiness. I think it’s really good because my scalp felt very clean and it didn’t tangle up my hair. Perhaps the mild tingling sensation is thanks to the peppermint essential oil, it felt so nice and refreshing. Cleanses so well without leaving hair dry, I wish I had a bigger bottle.
