Getting The Most Out Of My Beauty Diary’s Bird’s Nest Mask

More than a year ago, I tried Sasa’s version of Bird’s Nest sheet masks but I didn’t really like those because the texture of the masks was too thick and they didn’t do much for me. Would My Beauty Diary’s Bird’s Nest Mask fare better?

Since these are the latest masks in My Beauty Diary’s regular range along with the Southern France Apricot Masks, they come in the new and improved texture, much thinner and thus able to adhere closer to the skin than other sheet masks in the regular range. It also gives a better overall fit.

So I was kind of expecting it to have some scent but this one is virtually scentless. It’s so chock-full of serum that it was dripping on to my neck and clothes while it was on my face. Lesson learnt – I should’ve been lying down when using this mask instead of sitting down.

Before I knew it, an hour had passed with the mask on my face and then another half and hour by which time I thought that was enough. I’d left it on for one and a half hours which is really an awfully long time for a sheet mask.

Brighter effect? Definitely. More supple or firmer skin? No. However, if you are looking for a mask that hydrates for a long time, this sheet mask sure fits into that category. I like this mask a lot and when I run out, I would repurchase.

A box of 10 Bird’s Nest Masks retails at RM49.90 but I got mine at RM39.90 when it was on 20%discount at Guardian’s.
